My Coaching Approach

While leadership and executive coaching are a key part of my work, it’s not my sole focus. I work with clients in a more holistic way—exploring what moves them in the broader context of their lives. I’m curious about my clients’ ecosystems, the legacy they envision for the future, and the intended and unintended consequences of decision-making and how it affects the margins. These questions guide my coaching as I support individuals in navigating transitions, redefining success, creating meaningful change, and future-proofing organisations.

I also work with a diverse range of clients beyond business. My coaching journey has led me to explore themes of inclusion, creativity, and resilience, and several clients come from the arts, philanthropy, human rights, public interest, and entrepreneurship.

My Practice: Weideheuvel Coaching

My physical location plays a role in the work I do. Weideheuvel is a retired windmill dating back to the 1700s along the Amstel River between Amsterdam and Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Just 15 minutes from the city centre yet surrounded by nature, it’s a secluded space where clients can step out of their routines and into a different rhythm. I work from a practice on this estate, nestled among trees, on a pond with open fields stretching beyond.

Coaching in Motion

In addition to working from my practice, I also offer nature-based and walking coaching as an alternative to indoor sessions. Movement fosters reflection, perspective shifts, and deeper conversations. If the Dutch winter weather doesn’t cooperate, we retreat indoors by the fireplace. My process is collaborative—I see myself as a thinking partner while clients remain the captain of their journey.

Sessions are usually structured in blocks of six meetings, with flexibility to recontract as needed. While I often work biweekly, I adjust the rhythm based on each client’s needs. I also meet clients in other locations—homes, clients’ offices, cafes, museums, and parks—adapting the setting to what best serves the conversation.

Looking Ahead

My coaching practice is a living, evolving entity. While Weideheuvel Coaching is my primary focus, I am also developing Regenefy Consulting, which focuses on sustainable transitions for small and medium-sized businesses, and a foundation dedicated to broadening access to coaching. My goal is not to scale these ventures into large operations but to create collaborative, meaningful spaces that align with my values. I’m always open to interesting collaborations and would love to connect—let’s explore what we can create together.
